Man Lets A Stray Cat Into His Shop To Hide From The Rain, Cat Immediately Makes Himself At Home (Wholesome Viral Thread)

When we look at our kitties at home, it's hard to imagine them ever being able to survive on their own, but some cats actually do live their whole lives on the street. Some cats are built for it - their families are outside, adventures are outside. Not all street cats are built for it though. Some street cats decide that they're done with outdoor life, that they've had enough of it, and that it's officially time to be adopted.

This seems to be the case with this heartwarming viral cat rescue story. The man in this thread let this stray cat into his shop to let the kitty hide from the rain, and the kitty instantly made himself at home. Clearly, this sweet cat was ready to be adopted and spoiled and pampered. Who needs to continue dealing with the difficulties of the outside world when you can get spoiled to heck on the inside?

    We agree - reading this was a great start to our day too. Not many people out there would have done such a kind thing for a cat, so reading stories like these and seeing them go as viral as this one did truly reminds us of the good that humanity has in it - it gives us hope. So thank you.

    Font - Loopy_Popsicle +2.5d There are wipes you can buy that will give them a bit of a bath but won't harm them later when they groom themselves. You can also get "dry shampoo" for kitties that you spray on a cloth and wipe on them. Any local pet store should have what you need.     Font - thunderc8 OP +1.5d Small update: He woke up after a long 5 hour sleep and he is following me around in the shop but he has a phobia when i walk. He moves at least 2m away and ready to run with a feared look in his eyes but when i sit down he comes really close but he is avoiding my hand when i gently touch him. Seems he has seen some bad days or the evil side of humans, tomorrow I'll try take him to the vet and ask for advices. The fact the he follows me around i think is a good sign and

    Product - Edit: Any advice to approach him is welcome, he does some avoiding yoga moves when my hand touches his fur. Edit 2: He is a he, in my country the word cat is of female origin and only when we talk for a specific cat is called "gatos" and that determines his gender. Can't edit the post now. Edit 3: his eyes are blue and will update with pictures once we finish with the vet and he is all cleaned up.

I took the cat to the vet and we did 2 vaccines and medicine for the flea and psoriasis on the ears it also seems he has been hit a few times with kicks or wooden stick and has visible wounds but the doctor took care of them. One problem is that when we are outside he doesn't come near me and is afraid of everyone, but i think it's a matter of time for him to feel safe.
